ENGR JOHNBOSCO ONUNKWO: Albinos are an Integral Part of our Society and through our actions we must prove it to them

In commemoration of the Annual International Albinism Awareness day, Samora Media Ltd in partnership with some NGOs organized a public dialogue on albinism on Friday 9th June,2017 at Cosmilla Hotel,Awka.

The event attracted men and women of caliber from all works of life and the albinism community in Anambra state to dialogue and enlighten the public on issues of albinism as well as educate the persons in the albinic community of ways to tackle the health and mental challenges of living with their skin disorder.

Engr Johnbosco Onunkwo who was the Guest speaker at the event highlighted the need to fully integrate albinos in community development and also reiterated the fact that the present Anambra State Government have not done anything in terms of policy formulation that will positively affect this group of individuals.



He urged Anambrarians and Nigerians at large to partner and tap into albinos as they have some special talents that can benefit our society. He confirmed this by telling the audience that since inception of the Johnbosco Onunkwo foundation that Albinos has been an integral part of his team and that there contribution to the foundation have been overwhelming.

High point of the event was the presentation of Award and installation of Engr Johnbosco Onunkwo as Ambassador for the Campaign Against Discrimination of Albinos in Anambra State.

In appreciating the award bestowed on him, Engr Johnbosco promised the Albinic community of his continued support and pleaded with them to ensure through their support that a young credible Anambrarian emerges as the next Governor of Anambra State and promised that in such capacity will there needs be met as stakeholders in community development.
